MMVA performer Katy Perry graciously sat down with our Lauren Toyota to talk candidly about the work that was put into her upcoming movie Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D, her bestie Rihanna, and the hard work she put into creating the Firework that is her musical career.

How did you and Rihanna become such good friends?
She’s a wise woman, she has been giving me some words of wisdom lately. I’m like, “I’m tired!”, how do you do it?.  She works so much and we’re like, “when you take a break, I’ll take a break”.

“She was just very natural and nice and cool” Perry continues. Katy says she loves meeting anybody who’s had the type of success like Rihanna and still can be down to earth.
